Subject: Ysera AQ Gate Event & Maintenance
   Hi,
I will be straightfoward. It is our collective problem that someone decided to open the gate at 2:07AM on Ysera yesterday.

However I believe it it is a GAME ISSUE that the AQ Gate Event is OCCURING when the server are down for maintenance. The world event is only 10 hours... We lost half our server event!

I missed my legendary mount due to the fact that HALF of the event occured during maintenance hours. The event should have PAUSED at 5AM PST and RESUMED when the servers came back up, around 9:25AM PST. I was there the whole morning but unable to do anything!

I am asking to get this situation solved because its highly unfair for scepter holders and the whole Ysera population as well who worked hard. I worked 3 months to get the scepter and I didn't even get the same chance as everyone to turn it in, due to maintenance time.

Please give us 4-5 hours of war, the 4-5 hours we didn't get. Or give us our legendary mounts to whoever holds the scepter now in Ysera.

Thanks

The Game Master department will be unable to alter the way in which the event was launched on your realm. The event lasts for a certain period of real time after the gates are opened, regardless of whether or not the realm is available. I apologize for the inconvenience this timing caused you, Ashall.
This just feels like spinning plates...

If you suspect someone has shared/traded their account, it is best to repor the suspected character via the in-game petition system. At this point, all information about this player illegitimately opening the gates to grief Ysera is entirely speculative. Without any verifiable evidence, I hope you can understand why I say that.
I understand players are upset about these circumstances; however, this is the way in which this event has always run. No matter when the event launches, it lasts a set amount of time. We will do what we can to investigate the player who opened the gates; though you will need to submit an in-game petition to report him, as I do not want that information divulged on the forum.

The issue which sparked the opening of the Ahn'Qiraj gates on Ysera is being actively investigated and the appropriate actions are being taken. While I'm unable to provide you with the details of our actions, I can assure you we are handling this matter with great scrutiny.

We are aware that this issue has quite negatively affected several players on Ysera and are investigating possible methods for addressing this particular circumstance. Unfortunately, I will be unable to provide any additional information as to the steps we may take to handle this situation; however, again, we have great sympathy for those who were adversely impacted by the matter. I'd like to reiterate that you have my apologies for this unfortunate sequence of events, and my assurance that we will be looking into this further.
My lamb and martyr, you look so precious.
