Subject: Mail Disappeared: A Shakespearean Tragedy
   The Chorus:
A few auctions, all alike in dignity,
In fair Azeroth, where we lay our scene,
Where mail boxes eat our mail,
And I mourn great deals that might have been.
This is now the five minutes' traffic of our stage.

Act I: I'll make thee think thy swan and crow.

Last night I was surfing the Auction House for Enchantment supplies. I found a few good deals and bought them. As expected, they were immediately mailed to me.

Act II: Maileo, Maileo, wherefore art thou Maileo.

Unfortunately, within the transfer from mail box to backpack, the items simply disappeared. I checked my mail as usual, and they left my inbox but never entered my backpack. These items included 4 separate auctions of Small Brilliant Shards, 3 auctions of Essence of Air, and one Living Essence.

Act III: Ask for me tomorrow and you'll find me a grave man.

Now the twist: I've been using a macro to retrieve items and gold from my inbox quicker. This macro has been functioning perfectly for many months. Never have I had a problem with it. The macro opens the letter, picks up the gold or item, and deletes the letter. It worked fine all day long and I doubt it has much to do with the missing items.

Act IV: Mercutio is dead and either I, or thou, or both must follow him

I filed a petition and was eventually contacted by a Greymane GM. He was very polite and contrite but essentially told me that the only advice for me was - and I'm not making this up - "click slower." My items disappeared because I clicked too fast? I'd like to officially call that hogwash, but what-the-heck do I know about computers?

So, is there anything you can help me with or at least clarify so that I don't make more of my mail disappear by "clicking too quickly?"

Act V: To be continued...

Act V: Death lies on thy Maileo like an untimely frost.

Unfortunately, Torreyrotten, it appears that upon retrieving the items from the mail box they were deleted.

Act VI: These violent delights have violent ends . . .

It is my recommendation that you forgo the use of your macro, and instead manually retrieve your items.

Act VII: For never was a story of more woe than this of Torreyrotten and her Maileo.

I'm sorry I did not have better news, and I hope that this does not repeat itself in the future. :(
I do not kill with my gun; I kill with my heart.
