Subject: Account Hacked
   It was the night of June 9, 2006 when my account was accessed by an unkown person. It has taken over 2 months for me to get a response from Blizzard. The response I recieved though was, "Unfortunately, we were unable to provide the restoration you requested because we could not verify the loss of the items you reported." How is it possible for over 30 epic items and 200 gold disappearing from an account not be verified? I had 3 characters lose items, and another loose gold and maybe items. Hell I even know the character that received everything because all the nexus crystals that where mailed away all came back to me in the mail. I dont want the nexus crystals, I want my gear back. My account has already been locked and re-accessed by myself, and I would like to know if there is anything else that I can do to get my items restored, I dont want to have to go back through MC, BWL, and AQ40 to get them all back. I lost several months of raiding and it seems that I am not going to get it back.

I apologize for the delay in replying to this thread; however I wanted to ensure that I had the appropriate and accurate information to provide. I have looked into this situation personally, the original investigation was done extremely thoroughly, it was then re-visited and now I have looked into the matter myself - we are unable to verify the claimed losses. The amount of effort put into this investigation is more than normal, and we would have no reason to not provide this restoration - it simply is not possible. If we were able to we gladly would. I assure you that this is not due to any lack of effort on our part, or an inability to follow a 'paper trail'. I understand that this may not be what you wish to hear, and I do apologize for that - but we are not always able to verify every claimed loss nor do we guarantee any restoration. Furthermore, creating a 'rallying thread' on such a topic is not the purpose of this forum. The correct place to provide feedback if you feel that your investigation was incorrectly reached is wowgmfeedback-us@blizzard.com. I apologize, however I will be locking this thread.
