Subject: How do I quit a profession?
I accidently picked up engineering, and would like to quit it for skinning. I was told the way to quit a profession is to find a trainer to train you in a new profession and it will ask you to quit one of your current professions. However, it does not give me the option to train in a new profession.

   Hi Matgrim,

You can drop a profession at any time or from any place. To do so simple open up your character edit screen (default keybinding "c") and go to the Skills tab. Next click on Engineering from the skill list. In the dialog box below the list there will be an icon allowing you to permanently drop the skill. Please remember that once your drop it all your points in engineering will be gone.
