Subject: Timbermaw
I am not sure where to post this or if anyone can help, so I am putting it here for now.

I was partied with a lvl 57 warrior whom was going to help get me to Winterspring. Well, apparently his idea was to run threw the tunnel and kill the timbermaw. I could not get far enough away to keep it from affecting me, so I now have the hostile rep and I did not even attack them. I just could run far enough away fast enough. I do not think that it is right that I get the negative effects of his ignorance seeing how I didn't even attack them.

Is there a way this can be fixed without me haveing to spend a week straight killing the other guys to bring it back up?

I'm sorry, Zaree, but our Game Master staff will be unable to assist you in this matter. I understand that this has left you in a less-than-favorable position; this is, however, not a situation where we would be able to reimburse your reputation. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. If I found myself in a similar situation, I would have left the group as soon as the other player began attacking the Timbermaw NPCs in order to avoid the reputation loss. All members of a group are responsible for it's actions; any penalties for killing NPCs (including reputation loss or dishonorable kills for civilians) will affect all nearby members of the group. I would recommend that you keep that in mind when choosing who to group with in the future. Again, I'm very sorry and good luck!

As I said, this is not a situation where we would be able to provide you with a reimbursement of your lost reputation, and I would recommend that you be careful in these situations in the future. When you were running through Timbermaw Hold, you were a member of the group that was killing those NPCs. Had you wished to avoid reputation loss, you could have left the group and let the other player lead the charge and kept far enough back that you would not be attacked by the Timbermaw NPCs. You were a willing participant in the group, and received the appropriate reputation loss when those NPCs were killed. I can understand your frustration and am sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused you, but we will not be able to be of further assistance in this matter.
