Hi,
I already have an WoW account but I want to buy another one for my sister to play on. Because we live on an island, and shops that stock WoW are a long long drive away, is it possible to buy an account-key on the www.worldofwarcraft.com website or some other affiliated website? I will pay the full retail price for the key. I don't need the extra set of CDs.

In short: Yes, you can. :)
To do so, please take a look at the Recruit-A-Friend Program (link below). This program will provide you with a trial key, which will allow you to create a 10-day Trial Account. The account can then be upgraded to a full version on the Account Management page. There is an activation fee of $39.99 required in order to upgrade; but this fee also includes the first month's subscription. I hope this helps, Maxx!
