Subject: Banned for no apparent reasons
Hi all, I opened an new wow account on 28/07/2006 and transferred my 60 mage there from my old account, but on 03/08/2006 I received a mail from Blizzard that I was permanently banned due to "multiple trends" of serious rule violation that is "contrary to the essence of World of Warcraft".
I have no idea what could possibly go wrong, as the playing of the new account must be less than 4 hours and don't think I have violated any rules that reserved a direct ban without any warnings.
So I guess someone may have hacked my account or Blizzard may have made a mistake.
So, the questions are:
1. I have sent a mail to wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com, what is their average response time for processing protests about bans?
2. Are there any other channels that I can let my situations know to Blizzard?

Thanks!

While I'm afraid that I'm not privy to the exact response time of our Account Administration Department, they should reply to your e-mail sometime in the next 3-5 days. And I'm sorry to say that wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com is the only avenue through which such queries may be processed. I do, however, wish you the best in your efforts. :)
