Subject: So why are we going to Northrend?

I realize that Arthas is evil. However, he's always been evil. Meanwhile, we've been sitting around having Darkmoon Faires and learning how to cook. Why are we going to Northrend to kill him all of the sudden? Have our SI:7 domestic spying programs picked up some unusual chatter?
