The whole 'RetriLOL' thing has been bugging me a lot recently.
I have only dinged to 70 recently (you can tell as much by my gear) ... yet I'm already noticing the hatred towards the class spec in PVE. I'd noticed slightly on the road to 70 (it was getting increasingly difficult to find spots in instance runs, etc) but now it's worse than ever.
I honestly realise that reti as it now stands is more of a PVP spec than anything, but really, I don't think it is hopeless to the point where it's broken as a PVE spec. I know there is a lot of resentment harbored towards the retribution spec because of their terrible performance and damage prior to patch 2.3, but I still dont understand why they are literally totally ignored even today.
I'm am fortunate to be one of those who got chosen for the BETA, so I also have a lvl 70 ret pala on BETA, and thankfully I am happy to say (even though 99% of you guys know this already) that Retribution has not only been fixed, but is also slightly overpowered.
My question to you guys is this : do you think people will start signing RetLOLs into Kara raids come 3.0.2? Do you think that before WoTLK hits, the class spec will finally be realised as a viable riaidng spec? Our performance mana wise is now insane, I virtually never go oom on BETA. Ever. My damage is sick, (bugs aside) and I can out DPS rogues and hunters with the right judgment / DS rotations.
