So I see Blood Elves are to be the only race not permitted to be a warrior.
I felt a tremor in the force, as if a thousand nubs cried out, and were suddenly silenced.
However, from the ash, a phoenix rises, one Blood Elf at least still seems capable of wearing the Battlegear of Might (or part of it)
On the Blood Elf page, check the screenshots closely.

I'm going to do a little C&P (watch out!) from a post I made on the Beta forums.
The Blood Elves were playable as warriors at BlizzCon, and I don't think we have ever made a statement saying that warriors were never planned, nor have we ever said that the screenshots or showings of the expansion contain final content.
I know it's fun or sometimes gratifying to find little things that can be perceived as errors and point them out with scornful remarks, 'stickin it to the man' as it were. But it isn't an error, it's a screenshot of content that carries a pretty big disclaimer of not being final.
In any case, carry on, but just know that we still love you.

Q u o t e: In fact it is an error on your side. Your presentations were designed to let players know what to expect from the upcoming expansion. If you guys are just there to present us with things tagged with "this is not final and may not appear in the retail version", dont bother showing it, especially when months later you defend yourselves by saying it was never explicitly announced. You present content, I get a peek at what to expect!
Changing the game through its development cycle is no one's error, its a natural process. Look back at some of the old screenshots or movies before World of Warcraft released, there are a lot of things that change during the development process (some even right before shipping the game). We're not going to stop providing sneak peeks and denying people that excitement just because what we're showing may change, because it's still exciting to see, and fun to look back on as a game in-progress. Personally I love looking at old screenshots and movies and either marveling in the oddities, laughing at the absurdities, or mourning the features lost.
Nothing will work out exactly as you had planned it, and it's important to try to enjoy the process as much as the product.
