So, let me get this straight -
THIS is perfectly acceptable as player feedback on the overpowered-ness of a certain class, and will be not only viewed, but actively studied by the developers, who will then balance future patches based off of it:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4203756741355245537&q=The%2BWorld%2Bof%2BRoguecraft&pl=true
Tyren on Roguecraft 3: "I do have to admit, it makes it hard to convince the devs that rogues need help when they can point to the butt whooping handed out in that video. However, that doesn't change the goal of getting the player feedback back to the devs."
HOWEVER, this is an example of obvious propeganda, and not only will be ignored by the developers, but will also be insulted openly on the forums:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1475426203626380191
Drysc on the hunter kiting video: "I just came across a link for the video which I assume these threads are based on, and I think its one of the worst attempts at representing a class imbalance I have probably ever seen. I wholly question its validity, and if that cannot be questioned, the ability of the players involved. If anything, I laughed a whole lot and stared in amazement that it was being used to raise an argument."
SO, in conclusion, if a video is rapidly anti-rogue and contains "proof" that they are totally unfair, overpowered, and need to be nerfed, it will be taken seriously and used as material that the developers base class balance off of. But if a video suggests in any way, shape or form that rogues need help or need to be buffed, it will be openly mocked and torn down by Blizzard posters.
Hypocrisy anyone? Or should I instead call Class-ism?[ post edited by Lonawolfe ]

That quote from Tyren in no way suggests to me that the 'World of Roguecraft' video was used as some type of teaching aid for the development team. It sounds to me like it was a tongue-in-cheek comment, not a grave warning that the video was being used as any type of proof by the developers against player concerns.
The design team has direct access to the game (in all capacities), they can crunch the numbers, they can watch players and formulate scenarios. They made the game, and they play the game. With their vast knowledge of the game, and direct access to its inner-workings, why would they use a video as their defense? I'm sorry, but the two sentences from Tyren so desperately being used to create a conspiracy are nothing more than his personal comments.
The video that you linked to in regards to my comment, was just made today. In no way were my comments made in regards to the video you linked, nor could they have been, as my comments always obey the laws of time and space.
We are building a forum of extraordinary magnitude.
