I don't know about the rest of you with at least one level 60, but me, I'm sick of flying from point to point. It's not the cost of flying, but the time that it takes to get from point A to B to C to D. Linked flight paths are great except for the fact that they do a lot of loops at certain points. All you Alliance know what I'm talking about. You take a nice flight from Westfall to IF and you have to do that 360 degree turn outside of SW... So at this time I would like to make a suggestion to Blizzard.

My suggestion is simple. Blizzard should come up with a quest that level 60's can do that will make it so they can teleport to any FP. You would still have to pay the coin for the "linked flight" and you would only be able to activate it by talking to a flight master. I'm not looking to change any of that. I just want the flying part gone.
This way people who want to save the time can do the quest and people who like the 10 minute flight from Auberdine to Theramore can still enjoy it.
Now I suggest a quest to earn it because that would have to be something fun to do but Blizzard could make it easier and just put an option in the interface to turn off flights. I would like it to be something more for just level 60's (and soon to be 60+) to have. I personally have 2 level 60's and am sick of flying them both everywhere.
So here is what I would like from my fellow WoW players. If you like this idea, please sign this thread. Maybe if Blizzard sees enough interest in it, they will do something about it.....

I did what now? Can you share links with the class?
We would still like to have some scenic qualities to flying. There is also the notion that decreasing travel time makes the world smaller. These are the main points behind the travel system that we would like to keep in place.
There is attention being given to refining or streamlining certain paths, but the overall system will likely stay as it is. However, increasing the speed of travel time is not out of the question and something I have heard being bandied about, but nothing concrete at this point.
