Subject: The point of being ported to Karazhan?
So I heard the new legendary item for casters has the "open portal to Karazhan" use...

What is the point of this? I mean, yes it's Karazhan, but what makes it so special that the legendary staff needs to waste it's attributed points on it? Do you expect no one to get the staff until the expansion anyway and/or until they're 70? I guess it'd make a little more sense then (although sad), but even still, Karazan is like a 10 minute travel max for both alliance and horde.

I just fail to see the point of it.

It was Medivh's staff, it just kind of makes sense, and it's just a fun addition to the staff. I think it would be incorrect to assume the ability of the port took away from other stats on the item.

In short; because it's cool.
