Reading them makes me so... sad...
I love the Scourge as villains. You've done a wonderful job. Keep it up!
And finding these little notes... like a letter from one of the Soldiers who followed Arthas to the north to his lady...

(There are some bugs currently with how the aftereffects of the quests play out, but they should be fixed soon.)

The primary victims of the Scourge during this time were the Humans, but that does not mean the Horde is not involved.
After all, some of those selfsame Humans afflicted by the plague have since reawakened, free of the Lich King's will, correct? ;)

You're referring to the Argent Dawn here, I take it?
The Argent Dawn was only recently created to combat the Scourge. While the organization does factor in heavily to the event as a whole, in terms of these letters, no, you won't see an Argent Dawn-themed note. These documents have been tucked away in the torn, rotten clothing of the poor souls taken by the plague a few short years ago, completely forgotten to their empty minds as they act on the whim of the Lich King.

if you can't turn them into someone that would have them sent to the loved ones and get a small amount of rep, maybe 1?, would say to me that blizz droped the ball. Sure adding those is a nice touch but why not go all the way with it? Let us not only put to rest the tormented but set their soul atease by getting the letters to the next of kin. It seems like an obvious extension to me.
If you're worked about farming then have it give no exp or rep. I'd still turn them in for fun. : )
