Subject: Why buy low-level blue items? |

I see quite a few low-level blue weapons and armor for sale on my AH for very high prices (by low level I mean in the 20's and 30's). Obviously any of them would be nice drops to get - to use or sell - but I'm wondering why anyone would spend the cash on them when they will have an equivalent green piece in a few levels. Seems like a waste of money to me but maybe I'm missing something.

I don't think it necessarily always equates to a twink buying that gear. I have definitely passed wealth to an alt so they can have a weapon that can last a greater amount of time through leveling, as well as speeding it up. If you have the money, some of the lower level blue items can really help out.
