Subject: "Return" - Information Regarding the Series
Not long ago, the word made its way onto the Internet that a big announcement regarding Return was in the works. This announcement follows the culmination of many amazing events. In October 2005, Return was honored by Blizzard and Blizzard's fans at the first ever BlizzCon in Anaheim, California. Then in November, Return was nominated in four categories at the 2005 Machinima Film festival in New York, and brought home the top honor in the category dedicated to use of an unmodified game engine. Things continued to escalate and Return was translated into Chinese, French, and German and sent across the globe. The inventor of the word "Machinima" told us we helped renew his faith in the art-form.

Then came December, and save for a few tidbits from our much anticipated BlizzCon video, Rufus Cubed all but disappeared to the sound of rumors of great things on the horizon.

What happened?

No, we didn't take an extended holiday. In fact everyone here at Rufus Cubed entered a world of preparation so intense it nearly drove us mad. Night after night, we spent hours honing our technical, professional, and creative approach to the series fueling our hopes to rocket the art of Machinima to places it's never been.

Due to some amazing circumstances, not all of which we can disclose, Rufus Cubed Productions is no longer a namesake but a legitimate production company. While the details of this step forward could have delayed the series even longer, the good news is that all the time spent preparing has enabled us to deliver upcoming episodes over the Internet at an extremely high quality and even sooner than hoped. Rufus Cubed has acquired some lucrative sponsorships and relationships that have given us the ability to deliver the Return series in stunning Widescreen High Definition format.

We've also forged working relationships with some very talented voice-actors and a professional composer who is creating an outstanding original score for the continuation of the saga. There are future television possibilities for Return, and we will see how those pan out in time. Until then we will continue to deliver future episodes on the Internet, with an increased length of 12 to 15 minute featurettes.

Living up to the quality of Return is a challenge in itself. The cinematic nature of these motion pictures stress the limits of Warcraft Machinima as to set them on the edge of unfeasible. But over the next 6 months, we will try the impossible and bring you 6 incredible episodes of Return that will immerse and thrill you even more than the first glimpse of our story did. Rufus Cubed is intent on seeing this through.

We play the game too, and we know that every time you log into this incredible world Blizzard has created, you can lose yourself in the story, your character, or your surroundings. We want to strip away the interface and let you experience the World of Warcraft like never before.

Thank you for being fans of Return, and visit http://www.rufuscubed.com/return often to keep tabs on how things are progressing as we move this production forward!

P.S. We very much want to get some work into the Xfire contest. We'll do everything we can to make that happen.

If you can't spell "Coreiel", just say "Feathers".
