- Heart of the Wild - Previously, when shifting to Bear Form or Dire
Bear Form, this talent would cause your current health to increase by
the same amount as your max health. Now it will cause your percentage
of max health to be the same before and after the shift, as well as
shifting back to humanoid form. As a result, shifting in and out of
these forms will no longer cause an increase in current health.
Feral Druids had little or no way to heal themselves in combat. Unlike pallys and shaman we cant take hits while we heal. Unlike rogues we cant poison and blind and bandage. Unlike priests we cant shield and heal. Our shortest heal is TWO SECONDS LONG. How are you supposed to get this off in combat? If you dont have natures swiftness then you are screwed. This was a pointless nerf that only benefits the whiners and really hurts the few feral druids out there that are actually trying to build their character outside of the box. Care to comment blue? Pls, give me some BS weak explanation of why this was done.

Your shortest heal is instant, and called Rejuvenation. You also have Barkskin. Last I checked (being a 60 Druid and all), this, and other options open to you, can work just fine with a class that has high survivability and a number of ways to get away from one's opponent to recover.
This is not a "nerf". It's a bug fix. The word "nerf" is attributed to a design change that decreases power. This isn't a design change. It was never intended that shifting back and forth between Bear form and caster form should increase your health. What emphasized the issue was the Rune of Metamorphosis, which allowed you to basically heal to full by shifting back and forth without any cost to you whatsoever. It was unbalancing and never intended to occur.
Feral Druids do not give up their heal spells to only use forms. You have the tools; use them.

That's a shame for Druids, now that this has been fixed, what's the point of the rune of metamorphasis? Seems like a bit of a lame epic now...
Heh, you must never have encountered the "swiftshifting" cadre of Druids pre-1.8. Manaless shifting for 20 seconds can be fantastic. :)
