Weren't the devs saying that Shaman's were the most balanced class of the game and that all other class revisions were made with that balance in mind? Why are they getting another revision if they are what the devs considered to be balanced? I know they have problems, I hear the complaints. But if they are essentially "as intended" then they shouldn't get a whole new revision before classes that have received no revision yet.

While the developers are more or less happy with where Shaman stand on the balance scale, some tweaking to their talents can still help the class. I don't believe there's going to be a huge overhaul as you've seen with other classes -- just small adjustments.
(By the way, I hear Priests are now after Paladins.)

Eventually, I'm sure.
Understand this... the developers are making these adjustments in the order they feel the classes need them. Like it or not, Mage talents are fairly diverse and balanced -- the primary complaints do not lie there, and have more to do with the amount of DPS you're able to churn out and the problems surrounding resist gear. On the whole, Mages are in better shape than a few classes, and those classes are getting attention first.
