What I'm wondering is, do the Undead, specifically the type of Undead that are the Forsaken, remember their lives as humans? Some hint that they do, but I don't really remember all too many instances of this.
If they don't, fine, cool, the lore is fine because the Forsaken hates the Scourge (even though they're technically alive because of them, well, un-dead, rather) so they join the Horde since the Alliance wants nothing to do with their decaying families and ancestors.
If they do remember their alive lives, though, then why would they join the Horde that killed their families in the 2nd war? That doesn't make a heck of a lot of sense to me, even if they do believe the Horde has attoned, which, why would they, if the normal humans don't.
Anyways, yeah, back to the initial question, do the Forsaken remember their lives or not?

Many of them do remember, but when they awoke as one of the Forsaken, they stopped caring about their previous life. The memories may remain, but without any emotions to back them up, the memory is just something floating around in their mind, not driving them or bothering them at all. They don't feel love, or remorse, they just feel the world hating them and wanting to fight back.
Their alliance with the rest of the Horde is mutually beneficial as they share common enemies.
