Blizzard is a profit-driven corporation, just like most every company that's ever created any MMORPG. They want money, and I am here to speak their language, and see if we can't get any results.
My account is cancelled, if my subscription time runs out, I won't be able to post here anymore. My account will be reactivated only when the RP-PvP server comes. And with the way things have been going, I'm debating even reactivating right now. I'm sick to death of the lies. This server type was something promised since Beta.
Post here if your account has been cancelled on the same reasoning as my own, I know I'm not alone here.

TO THE BLUES:
On a side note, I'll give you a chance to save at least one customer, Blizzard. Give us an ETA, or give us a reason why you have just released two PvP servers and couldn't give the extra key stroke to make the PvP server a RP-PvP server. Are there plans for a new ruleset for this server? Throw us a frickin' bone here.
You give us that little bit of information, I give you 15 dollars! Seems pretty fair to me.. That's a lot of money to me at the moment, I'm a bit between jobs.

The PvP realms that have been opened are there to manage the capacity from the new players coming in, from Singapore as well as North America. They were also opened to accomodate those players who wanted a new realm but not necessarily a PvP-RP realm, thus keeping the impending playerbase for the ruleset focused on those who truly want to play there.
I cannot give you an ETA besides what's already been given -- the ruleset should come with the next content patch.
All of this is information I've given before. ;)

Read the implication.
We released PvP realms first to prevent people who just wanted a new realm from rushing it.
Also, as I've said many a time before, there are certain things we need to hash out internally -- policies more than code changes -- before we make a new ruleset live. It should be all set to go around the time of the next content patch.
I hope once you return from your suspension you'll be a bit more civil. :)

While I'm sorry you feel what I've given is insufficient, Dezaris, the ETA I've already said is the only one you're getting from me until such time as the patch is ready to launch.

My hands are tied, Makar. What information I've given is all I'm authorized to give.
EDIT: Also, there are no plans, now or ever, to have volunteer staff due to managerial and legal concerns. I have personally been a high ranking member of a group created to do more or less what you suggested, and even as it was, there were many managerial problems and the overall effectiveness was virtually nil.[ post edited by Caydiem ]
