Subject: MaggotEye Raid |

Tonight, with the release of the two new realms, myself and Caydiem (in her Fangtooth disguise) decided that it would be fun to create characters on Kelecgos in an attempt to organize a raid against Maggot Eye, the undead Gnoll. Unfortunately, finding players who were interested (and believed that I was really Eyonix) was quite a challenge. However, there were a number of brave adventurers that felt up to the task.
I present to you the images of our exploits.
Here we encounter our first monster. I was pretty scared and stayed far away at first, but with the help of those I partied with...

We were pretty excited when this dropped. We nearly had to remove someone from the raid for an argument that this caused.

This post is in memory of Factor, who died so that we may live. We loved you so much Factor, and thank you for your contribution. Maggot Eye is no more...unless you count the infinite respawn factor.

Sadly, we won't be logging into these characters again. This was something very spur of the moment which I thought up shortly after announcing the release of the two new realms.

There is at least one comment such as this in every thread detailing something we've done, regardless of what area of being community building it fulfils. The fact is, this was done in my off time, and I DO in-fact make it a priority to have fun in the game, and include as many others as I can when I login to the game.
This was a sincerely great time, and I wish more could've been present.

It always amuses me that one month, we see the same comments about how much we all play and favor alliance. I can never keep up with which faction we're supposed to LOVE with everything in our being. :p

I'm not a GM, nor am I in charge of policing names. If one offends me, I will report it. This name did not, and to be honest I was happy to have him in my raid - great Mage! In any case, if you're upset by this particular name, please feel free to handle the issue as you would when seeing any other inappropriate name in World of Warcraft.

Agreed. Hunters have no place rolling on Malachite, and while there were no Hunters in the raid, one amongst our ranks was clearly attempting to roll on the item to pass it along to his unborn Hunter-alt.

I do have a high level Alliance character, but I'm a Horde woman through and through. Ordinn and Tyren are predominantly Alliance players. ;)

People need our attention at 1AM when we're off the clock? Perhaps, yes, but during that time we can't exactly phone up the developers and ask them your burning questions without finding said communication device plugging up an orifice uncomfortably.
It was a fun little community event that didn't take much time after we'd both worked a full day.
