Subject: >> Tyren, Regarding Queues
I think most people would agree that Battlegrounds are indeed a fun addition to World of Warcraft. However, the major problem people are seeing is the inability to get into the battlegrounds due to long wait times or not enough players. And the addition of more battlegrounds in future patches will most likely only exacerbate the problem if a proper remedy isn't found beforehand.

I'm interested in hearing what solutions are currently being worked on to alleviate this issue. Can any specific clues be given as to what will be implemented? I've heard a good number of suggestions here, such as allowing players to go against their own faction (for no honor points), among others.

Thanks for your time

No question that it's a huge topic for us. But unlike an FPS when you can just move someone to the other team, we do not have that luxury. So it's a much more complex problem.

It goes beyond faction imbalance, if for example, the numbers are exactly even, and 100 more Horde go dungeon crawling, that leaves 100 extra Alliance players waiting in the queue.

As to what solutions we are considering, it's too early to tell, and most likely, anything I say will probably turn out not to be true later on, so I'll notify a dev next week, and we'll let you know. :)
