The hotfix that fixes resistance for higher level mobs against spells might be a bug fix, but adding HP to bosses is a nerf for everyone else.
Imagine a group that had no DPS casters. Suddenly, they take longer to kill a boss, for no apparent reason. This is a problem, because healers are now more likely to run out of mana before the end of the fight.
This is not well thought out "fix". The extra HP should be removed, or replaced with additional resistance to spells being given to the specific bosses that HP were added to while fixing the bug overall.
Waiting for the next big thing .... CoV anyone?

Only boss monsters in Molten Core, Onyxia, Azuregos, and Kazzak have had their hit points increased. I don't know anyone that has ever engaged any of these mobs without at least a few, if not several casters. Overall this is a major improvement for the entire raid party.

This fix will solve the problems there, when mages have the mana to last through the fight.
Against the boss mobs though, adding HP is just plain wrong. Why would you do that? To make the fight about the same when you factor in the higher damage casters will be doing.
But this changes the fight for teams that have a different ratio of casters to whatever it is Blizzard used as average.
But then again, who cares? Right? Just take a bunch more casters. Fight will be over quicker.
Krund, we discovered a bug which was adversely affecting casters and fixed it. I'm sorry if you became used to playing a certain way due to the existence of this unintentional and unfortunate game bug, but you will have to adapt. I'm pretty sure that you're not going to notice any of these encounters being more difficult, unless you have no casters, in which case I wish you the best of luck.
