The Forum issue from several weeks ago where folks could not log in was never updated. The original post by Ordinn promises an update. The realm issue post by Fangtooth also promises an update. At what point do we give up on Blizzard following through on their promises to provide updates. These updates need to be here in this forum or a post linking to the appropriate response. I think the community at large is allowing this by not forcing the issue. The CMs need to be held responsible for their promises of updates and not doing so.

Please follow through on your fellow's part.
As a side note the realm issue is now unstickied to be lost in oblivion. This is an attempt at a constructive work to get promised updates.

Updates on realm issues come primarily through the Realm Status forum and the Alert Window, and that has been the case since launch. They were updated last night accordingly.
I will speak with my fellow Community Team members regarding this issue, however, I will say that sometimes we do not get more information to give to you. If you would rather we not say "Hey, I'll go look into this for you," on the off chance we do not receive information we can pass along, then that is most certainly an option.

Q u o t e: On the off chance that you receive information you can't pass on, atleast have the curtesy to inform the community that you told you'd look into the issue with a simple "I'm unable to give any information on this subject." While thats a poor response, its better than the current complete silence that become the norm.
Again, I did say I'd speak with the team regarding this issue and when we do say we'll get information we'll do our utmost to follow up.
