Hi everyone. Im here to ask for some help, Il start by explaining the situation.
Some time ago Blizzard decided to open a migration from Daggerspine and Bladefist to Outland. We had a good time in advance, to decide if we should go or not and indeed alot of the community on Daggerspine decided to leave. The problem was that so did the entire community on Bladefist.
The guild im a part of decided that the new server(Outland) would end up being a server filled up to the edge, and especially if Blizzard was going through with those promises about not splitting up guilds(Wich would mean that even if they spontaneusly stopped the migration we could still have the possibility of 5-600 people migrating over).
And indeed as it was Blizzard figured this out and after about 2 weeks or so of postponing the migration they opened migration to Outland from Bladefist and kept the Daggerspine community waiting for 1 week in case there would be enough room.
Sadly enough for some Blizzard decided that there would not be enough room so they had to open up a fresh realm that Daggerspine alone could migrate to(silly as it may seem). They stated that after migration to Kazzak was closed from Daggerspine they would open up migration from other realms. Now here's the thing, Almost the entire Daggerspine community migrated. Daggerspine turned into a ghost server. There was about 3-4 raiding guilds left on each faction. Our server was going out of people. I even heard that it cost Blizzard more to run it than the accounts active theyre paid in, although this was just rumours ofc:)
So my guild decided to migrate there and then, with two days left of the migration we had a busy time getting all the members to move. This is where we all realised that all the members wouldnt make it. We had put our hope into that new service Blizzard offered, but the deadline was out so they wouldnt help. We sent numerous tickets to GMs explaining the situation and all we got back was "Sorry the migration from Daggerspine to Kazzak has been closed at this time. Blabla" Aka pre-made answers. Wich kinda leaves us with the feeling that Blizzard and they're employees indeed dont give a crap about the few players that are left with their game sucking donkey balls.
So here we are with our crappy situation and some really nice people sitting stuck on Daggerspine, I know that we are also to blame for making the desciscion so late but man. Blizzard was crappy at giving info, if only they could have at least put up a sticky on the realm forums, or made a post on www.wow-europe.com. But instead they just threw up a sticky amongst 20 others that you hardly notice is there.
If this would have been a regular migration I wouldnt even have bothered making this post, cause it would only have been our own fault for deciding so late. But this migration was !&$%ed up from the beginning and there was always some changes in the plans, both from Blizzard and from the community. And as I said before Blizzard sucked at giving out info about it.
This mess leaves us in a crappy situation where we can sit here and be pissed about deciding so late, or we can help prevent this $!@% happening again. Im writing this post for those that where left behind, guild or no guild. If Blizzard really does care about every player I wish they would just take more notice on whats actually happening, and understand that having migration open for only 6 days isnt enough.
So back to me asking you for help. Just write a reply, flame me, do whatever you like, just get peoples attention to this post so that we can help them from !&$%ing up for themeselves, never ever rely on Blizzard being helpfull and caring. I should have learned that by now but it still amazes me how little they really do that fits with what people want.
And please dont tell me that im stupid or a care-bear. I know that and I just dont give a flying $!@%, Il do whatever might help those few people, even if it annoys the hell out of you.

First of all I can say I'm very happy we didn't let the Daggerspine migration point to Outland. If we had done that Outland would have had thousands of players in queue at the same time every evening now. And that's even when keeping in mind that some Daggerspine players said many wouldn't move at all if they had to go to Kazzak, so according to them it would have been even more in queue than the populations on Outland and Kazzak currently indicate
Now, I don't have access to numbers and graphs right now, but I did check the "migration closed" report last Friday. I don't doubt that a big portion (even the majority) of the core community moved, but to say the entire community moved is an exaggeration.
To the main concerns I've seen in this thread and others concerning I have the following quick responses right now:
1. "Daggerspine is empty!" - No, it's not. It's fairly low populated though. We'll see how it develops overt he next few weeks. It's not the time for rash actions for Daggerspine (or Bladefist), but we of course try to ensure that the population doesn't stay low on any realms.
2. "Kazzak is empty!" - Far from it. As with Daggerspine we'll keep an eye on it and see what we'll do. The number of players migrating doesn't make us very comfortable of directing another realm there through migration unless we know there won't be too many moving. There will probably not be more migration to Kazzak next week, but maybe the week after that. We'll see.
3. "My guild got split!" - This is the very reason we started the guild migration assistance program, but we have to have deadlines on such things to be able to coordinate it properly. It's always your responsibility to move your characters, though we can help out in some situations. If you make the decision to move the guild two days prior to the migration closing, you should realize the possibility of members not being able to do so in time. If you still choose to try have the guild migrated that late, that's your choice.
That is not to say "tough luck" and that you'll just have to be split forever though. There might be more chances in the future. It's not the time (nor in my power alone) to talk about that right now though.
And I'm sorry but I can't get into a discussion on these topics at this time. I'll be very busy in the coming week and what time I have for migration will be put into the planning and execution part first and the communication part second. I just wanted to address these points now that I did have some time.
That there is one damn fine epic you're wearin'.

Just dropping by to clarify a few things:
- Additional migration from Daggerspine will not be considered until after the current schedule is through, and high-population realms have priority. Moving more players off Daggerspine is not something we wish to do at this time.
- Migration to Daggerspine (and other older realms) will be considered after the current migration schedule.
- Keep bumping to an absolute minimum. It lowers the chance of additional replies and increases the chance of the thread being locked.
Thank you.
