Its crazy, stark raving mad, its like rolling a paladin to do DPS, utterly mad.
I post an idea thread of how to cut down on forum posts, invariably it gets no reply from a blue but to my suprise it's locked without reason, so naturally i post enquiring why which is also locked for breaking forum rules, fair enough its a rule i didn't realise, i broke it.
Now this thread is not about my locked posts, as i have no doubt this has happened to a lot of other players, its just a simple suggestion. Rather than locking the subsequent posts and the little control V for the section of the rules explaining that, would it not make more sense to just explain why the orignal post was locked? I ain't no spammer i rarely post on here, but when i take the time to make a reasonable thread with sensible suggestions and ideas (and i am sure this must happen to others), why not just post on the orignal thread why its locked? I am pretty sure it was locked because of the subject it was about, and the content wasn't read and yeah i do understand that however unfair it is, but my idea to blizzard regarding these forums and their community representatives is that to cut down on the spam they ensure that people who are here to use the forums properly are given a little bit of respect when they take the time to post, even if its just a 1 sentence reply on their orignal post.
I can't believe the moderators enjoy blocking all these threads, but at the same time you're causing most of them, my bloody orignal thread was how to cut down on spam on the forums and in turn i have now posted multiple threads because of the seemingly insane approach taken by the community reps. If you really don't want any posts regarding a subject, for example new realms, then why not post a sticky explaining that? i only posted ideas on the way to cut down the new realms forum posts and that gets locked without reason, it's a huge ongoing problem that blizzard representatives on here seeme determined to provoke.
I do find the humourous side of it though, post a thread, get it locked for no reason, so post inquiring why and here's the clever part :P posting about a locked thread is against forum rules so they can lock you for that ! Maybe not all that funny but always try and smile.
Anyways in conclusion, if you want to reduce spam on these forums, it really needs a better approach from you guys in blue. I know that no matter what you will do there will always be some threads spam or offense that will need locking but a huge amount of what was locked today was created by yourselves, firstly for lack of communcation (the summary of my orignal post) and then simply because you give no respect to the genuine players posting on here.
Its sad that players have no avenue to pursue here, we have no-one to speak to regarding the way the forums are handled or injustices on them, so i guess i just appeal to your logic and common sense to simply treat players with more respect in the first place and in turn solve your own problems on here. If this is locked as well then its a bit sad although expected, my only appeal is that if you are going to lock it you go to my orignal post which i think will be on page 2 by now and explain why my post was locked, i would love it if you discussed my idea's but i won't hold my breath so a simple explanation of why it was locked and caused all this, no matter how late i would appreciate it a lot.

Your original thread, together with numerous other thread addressing the topic of the numerous threads about new realms, were all locked because they were not contributing to reducing the threads but adding even more spam to the forum. For the same reason all threads suggesting to ban those post those threads were also closed, as was those posting nonsense threads. Many of these have now been deleted to further clean up the forum.
As soon as the above was carried out, I made the thread reminding people about the answer that has been there for about a month. However, please note that rewarding spam with an answer is not high on my list, hence I'm very reluctant to make a post on a topic as a result of people going crazy. ;)
Sorry for not posting this earlier. Between all the spam is sometimes hard to pick up the posts that are worth responding to in length. :)
