Hi There,
yes! finally a direct punch into the face of "occasional gamers"!
At least we should be happy that we ("occassionals") are still aloud to play (as long as we pay). Well no guild that wants to be part of that Program will take us anymore (active participation in community and so on is required - even so desired by many of us just not always possible) but what the heck! It was already hard enough for occasionals to manage to get into MC raids or alike. Now this problem solves itself.
At least we can all do this "solo" epic quest when 1.10 comes out (if it comes out soon - I am WAITING for that and my abbo runs out beginning of April and I am 99% sure I wont prolong it).

"Guilds will be invited into this program based on the level of activity demonstrated in regard to constructive community interaction."
This text does not translate to "We will only invite guilds that regularly raids MC/BWL/AQ, and who have all guild members covered in tier 2 epics". If this is what you think the guild relations program is all about, then I'm afraid that you have misunderstood what is written on the page I linked to in the beginning of this post.
Guilds consisting of casual players will have an equal chance like everybody else of joining this program, because constructive community interaction does not require you to be a hardcore gamer. The guilds that will be invited into this program will be invited because they are a positive element for the community.
