Subject: To advance in mining skill... bug?
Before patch 1.9 you got 1 skillpoint each time you mined
a node (as long as it's orange), so on one node you could
gain 1-4 skillpoints from each node. Now I only gain 1 skillpoint
per node, and that's the first time I mine it... is this correct?
It takes longer to progress your miningskill than your fishing now...
Any clues?

It has never been possible to gain more than 1 skill point. It is, however, possible that sometimes two nodes spawn at exactly the same spot at the same time.
So you wouldn't notice that there are two but you would gain two points (depending on its colour).

I've never noticed getting more than one skill point per node, and I've been mining on different characters since launch. True, I don't pay that much attention to it... ;p

I have come across quite a few double-nodes though. Reading this thread got me thinking - I can't remember finding any of those lately.
That there is one damn fine epic you're wearin'.
