I was just reading the World of Warcraft Battleplan #2 ( http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-blizzard-archive-en&t=22 ) and realized how much has already been done since that was published. Most points and plans mentioned there have been completed, at least for a fair share:
* BlizzCon has come and gone, and turned out to be a nice event for all that were there to visit.
* "The Burning Crusade" has been revealed and some of it was even playable at Blizzcon.
* The Silithus area has been completely revamped into a great new zone with ofcourse the Cenarion Hold and tons of quests.
* Zul'Gurub and Ahn'Qiraj have now been implented, offering a lot of new content for people around level 60 and even below if you count the War Effort.
* The four green dragons around the Emerald Dream portals; Ysondre, Lethon, Emeriss, and Taerar.
* We've had seasonal events such as Halloween, Winter Veil and ofcourse the Darkmoon Faire.
* The new battleground, Arathi Basin, has been implented.
* Talent Improvements for more than half of the classes. (Warriors, Warlocks, Hunters, Druids and Paladins)
Not everything, but certainly more than half of what was described. It's all good aswell.
However, one thing had me puzzled and that was the Fee-based character transfer, I haven't heard anything about it since the Battleplan and have seen nothing but simple transfers from high to low pop realms.
Blizzard has stated they want to provide this transfer method for players as soon as they can. I was wondering how far they are in this and if it will be possible to transfer to RP realms that have the same (PvE or PvP) basic ruleset as your current realm. I understand PvE -> PvP will never happen, for good reasons ofcourse.
If it has already been answered then please point me to that thread, I've searched but only found the post that is stickied here about January transfers.
