What -- Why -- When
Blizzard released a hotfix this week. The hotfix removes the temporarily buffs lasting through zoning (mana oil, poison etc..). This was done to reduce the lag that has been hitting some realms. The change will be undone once the new hardware is in place.

WOW insider number 9 was released this week. It contain an interesting interview with "Jeffrey Kaplan" about the PVP revamp and such. It also contains some info about the trading game cards, 1.12 outdoor PVP and more.

Gametrailers.com had an interview with non other then "Jeffrey Kaplan". Not much new news besides that the LFG/LFM UI will come in the expansion. Still a nice interview to see what Blizzard is thinking about the expansion. Go see it! (1st link requires windows media player and 2nd required Quicktime)

A glimpse of the new reputation system was revealed. It seems it will be more logical quest flow and world immersion. For example do 2 quests and you are friendly. Do 3 more, and your honoured. Etc..

Some statistics have been revealed. The current aim is 7 zones in Outland for the expansion. Each zone will be the size of Eastern Plaguelands or even bigger.

Blizzard makes sure your current PVP title won't go away in the expansion. In the expansion you will be able to chose your highest rank achieved or if you want, lower till no title at all. This way all your hard PVP work won't go in vain.

Some arena-PVP info was released. The info is about the rules within the arena. For example, no consumables (with exception of bandages and conjured items), spells with a cooldown of 15 minutes are restricted, etc. It also contains information how the point system works. Go read it.

And yes, the arena-PVP is an outdoor area. So druids rest assure, some stuff will work for you ;-)

Not all Arenas will be the same size and geometry. Also the size can be compared with Gurubashi Arena.

Realm (migration) update
All realms are currently able to move a character from a realm. However, not all realms will accept you. To see a list of realms who will accept you this week, go to: http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general-en&t=1192526&p=1
To transfer, go to your "Account Management" and click "Paid Character Transfer".
