New tools for the Trolls incoming!...

Yes I know Warcraft Weekly was a little late, but I had an interview for my upcoming college year, so a little sleep was needed ;-). Not to mention Warcraft Weekly is always released on Mondays.
Anyways, a new chapter will feature this issue. It’s called “World of Comiccraft”. It’s about comics that are about WOW.

Last week Vivendi (publisher of WOW) held a presentation about the future of WOW. Nothing shocking news. Only that they are working on more community things, lower prices, more commercials and more localisation.

Are you a fan of (World of) Warcraft lore? Well then good news for you. Blizzard made a new page regarding the lore of the Trolls. You will find information about “Why did the trolls split up”, “How come a part of them joined the Horde?” or “Why do they eat people?”. New faction rewards have been revealed. This time it’s about the faction “Argent Dawn”. You will find items as well as new scrolls. These rewards will go live in 1.11.

Always wanted to give a friend a 10-day pass for World of Warcraft, but you already gave it away? Well then you can surprise your friend. Blizzard is giving away a free demo of the game. It’s the same as the “10-day pass”, only this time you don’t need to give your friend the pass.

Finally! The new promised Forum has arrived! Here are a few highlights what has changed:
- New and more robust search feature, allowing you to categorize and preview posts by keyword or poster.
- New forum icons for each race and class combination as well as PvP rank display.
- Ignore feature, allowing you to ignore specific player’s posts.
- New forum-navigation features.
Of course it has a new layout and such. Go give it a try I say!

While we are on the subject of new websites, there’s also a demo of the new upcoming frontpage system. Not many changes between the old one and new besides some new layouts and faster load times.

Crusading who? Burning Crusade you say?
Another week, another bestiary update. This week the famous but much hated opponent, the Fel Orcs. Much more savage then your normal Orc and full with dark corrupted energies. 1.11 PTR special (???)
Looks like 1 little change slipped by undetected. It’s a feature that Warlocks have been crying about. Yes, that’s right, “Debuff Priority”. Some debuffs/buffs have values attached to them. The higher the value, the less chance it will be knocked off by lesser valued buffs/debuffs. Not all buffs/debuffs have a value yet, but it’s a start.

For my current estimate when 1.11 final will be released: I’d say 1 more week minimal, with a maximum of 2 weeks.
